My musical side...

If music be the food of the soul - PLAY ON i say!
Hehehehehe...the obsession with music is on the rise and the current obsessed over song is :

Jay Chou - Qi Li Xiang

chuang wai de ma que / zai dian xian gan shang duo zui
The sparrow outside the window is being noisy on the electrical wire

ni shuo zhe yi ju / hen you xia tian de gan jue
You say that this sentence has a lot of that summer feeling

shou zhong de qian bi / zai zhi shang lai lai hui hui
The pencil in [my] hand, goes back and forth on the paper

wo yong ji hang zi xing rong ni shi wo de shui
I use a few lines to describe who you are to me

qiu dao yu / de zi wei / mao gen ni dou xiang liao jie
The taste of sanma fish, the cat and you both want to understand

chu lian de xiang wei jiu zhe yang bei wo men xun hui
The fragrance of first love was rediscovered by us just like that

na wen nuan / de yang guang / xiang gang zhai de xian yan cao mei
That warm sunlight, is like the brillant freshly-picked strawberries

ni shuo ni she bu de chi diao zhe yi zhong gan jue
You say you can't bear to eat up this feeling

yu xia zheng ye / wo de ai yi chu jiu xiang yu shui
Rain falls the whole night, my love overflows just like rainwater

yuan zi luo ye / gen wo de si nian hou hou yi die
The fallen leaves in the yard, thickly overlaps with my lingering thoughts

ji ju shi fei / ye wu fa jiang wo de re qing leng que
A few words of dispute, cannot cool my warmth

ni chu xian zai wo shi de mei yi ye
You appear in my poem's every page

yu xia zheng ye / wo de ai yi chu jiu xiang yu shui
Rain falls the whole night, my love overflows just like rainwater

chuang tai hu die / xiang shi li fen fei de mei li zhang jie
Butterfly on the window sill, is like the beautiful chapter that flutters about in the poem

wo jie zhe xie / ba yong yuan ai ni xie jin shi de jie wei
I continue to write, to write my eternal love for you into the poem's ending

ni shi wo wei yi xiang yao de liao jie
You are the only understanding I want

na bao man / de dao sui / xing fu le zhe ge ji jie
That fulfilling ear of rice, made this season happy

er ni de lian jia xiang tian li shou tou de fan qie
Yet your cheek is like the rippened tomato in the fields

ni tu ran / dui wo shuo / qi li xiang de ming zi hen mei
You suddenly say to me, "Qi Li Xiang" this name is very beautiful

wo ci ke que zhi xiang qin wen ni jue qiang de zui
Yet at this moment I can only think of kissing your stubborn lips

I like the music man~ So nice!!!!
English and chinese lyrics both not bad... but i don think i would like to hear any of Jay's songs translated into other languages...too weird~ Anyway most of them already sound like they are being sung in other tongues...Hahaahaa

Did you guys know that i took piano lessons?
Well, i did. Started when i was in Pri. 4 and had to sto when i started JC. Too ex. lah~ At least i can play a decent tune now and again :)

Ok...back to the song!
Just lose it! Ah ah ah ah ah
Go crazy! Ah ah ah ah ah
Hahahahahahahahahaha~
Have a great weekend guys :)
Cheers!

Recap----
"QuEsTiOn Of ThE dAy : What can be seen from the moon?
Any takers? Yang Mui is not allowed to answer because she already knows the answer. :p Haha..."
Answer : My handwriting....Buah hahahahahhaha....*Sans the flying slippers and various hand weapons* Hahahaha....

Guess who i dreamt of last night!
Want some clues?
*Acted in a movie this year
*Movie star (duh~)
*Is in my list of fav. actors [If this ain't a huge hint i don't know what is...]
Guess, guess, guess!

You know that period immediately after someone close to you dies?
Of course you send a good deal of time in morning for the person, but there's more right?
Every thought you have some how gets linked back to the person.
You think of his/her good and bad qualities.
Try to ingrain what the person looked like or sounded like, coz your afraid that you'll forget.
You think of what could have been.
When your thoughts drift off to somewhere else and you realise you have not been thinking of that person, you feel guilty that you did not have that person in your mind.
(As i write this, its getting real hard to breathe and my visions bluring)
You wish that you had more time with this person.
You wish that you had said and not said certain things.
Your heart feels empty, but there's that huge pang when you think of that person and still you continue to think of him/her because you don't wanna forget him.
Well, i kinda felt that way when my grandpa went to be with God.
I miss his cooking, the way he sang me to sleep, how he hugged me, his drawings, just him being him.
It's very hard to write this cause it hurts alot.
Something inside me does not like people to see me cry so... i have to write bit by bit in order not to let my family members find me crying while infront of the computer.
I know i need to let go in order to move on with my life.
I just find that i don't wanna.
I'm still very much that little girl who was told her Ah Gong would not be coming home any more.
With all that said, I've always been very jealous of my other family memebers for having been able to dream of my grandfather. Childish i know, but i haven't dreamt of him in any of the 12 years since his death. So now it's time for a confession : i did not just dream of that actor last night.
I dreamt of two other people.
My Grandfather and my younger-self.
I won't go into the details of the dream. Too darn personal. Please forgive me for not sharing.
Does that mean that i have finally let go of him?
You tell me... coz it still hurts like hell when i think of my grandpa.
I'm just thankful that for a short time, i was with him again, even if it was not real.
Ah gong if you can hear me: I MISS YOU!

Me thinks i had better go before i really break-down.
Ciao~

Injured again...

Life's a bitch, then you die.

QuEsTiOn Of ThE dAy : What can be seen from the moon?
Any takers? Yang Mui is not allowed to answer because she alreay knows the answer. :p Haha...

I was turned off by a certain attention whore on monday night. Who is this brazen media attention hogging hussy? Well, Marcus would know who i am talking about. Yes! It is that guy who stripped on Singapore Idol! He was acting as one of the bad guys on True Files 3. Thank God he was put to death in the end. I don't think there would have been poetic justice if he was not hanged for all his crimes on the television.

Yahoo~ My Aunt has decided to start attending church! Praise God!

Hohoho...I will be having my last Maths 1 lecture this week. NO MORE GOING TO SCHOOL ON SATURDAY MORNINGS!!!!! Boo ya~ the only down side to this would be that i have to go to school on thursday afternoons for my Stats 1 lectures...O.o

I just got back from TKD practise at the CC.
I got kicked in the fingers note that fingers...plural not singular...FINGERS...by Alfred. Shesh~ Worst of all...i got kicked on the same fingers more than once. Now my right thumb is swollen and the colour of a prune. Really hurts man~
I guess i could start singing 'Bad day' but i've had badder days..so this is still a good day... :D
Oh yeah~
Did i mention that i busted my left leg?
I injured it during training at the beginning of the month and it still has not gotten better...me thinks me pulled a ligerment of something like that...*sigh*...now i think i will have to go buy a knee brace so i can continue kicking the targets...i also hurt my left foot while i was at home...accidently kicked the chair twice...real crap..now i have a huge blue-black on my foot...looks more like a tatoo actually....haha...I have faith that God will heal me! Yes! He will heal me!

Hey E.T.!
When u free? Wanna trade notes? Study together? Rot together? -.-; Hee...

Dear Winnie,
The Curry was GOOOD :D...one day when we super free we can go there and eat :) Must jia you for the exams k? Piah ah~ Den can relax...only 4 days...JIA YOU ARH!!!!!

Sherona-Briseis-Zealot Tayous ^-^

Whatever happens, don't ever lose hold of life's two ropes. Faith and Hope.

Meena's back in Singapore! Had her lecture this morning. *A spider crawled up my arm in the bus...yiiiiiii yucks* The topic was Matrices. Back in secondary school that unit got cut out in A maths, subsiquently we din have to study it for Maths 9233 as well...so now it comes to bite us all in the butts~ Yet another example of how we're all screwed by the education system. Although i am kinda peeved that i din get to study it last time, i think that Matrix is kinda interesting. At least i have friends i can turn to if i donno what the hack to do for certain questions...*YANG MUI!!!! I NEED HELP WITH THE REVISION QUESTIONS!!!*
After the lecture, Yang Mui, Shi Min , Hui Ru, Diana and me took a stroll to the nearest Mc Ds for lunch...i brought the coupons! Heehee~ It was cool that we were ble to get together and just spend time yakking about ll sorts of stuff...from F.I.R to 'Oh my tian!' and Shi Min's desire to fulfill her duties to society. You go girl! I will do my best to aid you in your search :) I am positive that if Shi Min is successful with her '5 year plan', she will get honorary titles from the PAP and every family planning society in Singapore! Confirm! Ladida~ Had a very fun time people! Lets do it again!
Interesting fact for 23102004 - i wore a skirt to school.
As a result, i made the headlines on Yang Mui's blog! Woohoo~ I want to thank my Mummy, Daddy, TKM for buying the skirt and blouse for me, Shi Min for picking the day which i was to wear that outfit...erm...my Grandpa for feeding me chicken rice...

Oh yeah...my head still hurts...*goes for the 30th ice-pack*

Allow me to get a little serious for a few seconds. I need to get something off my chest...bare with me.
To XXXX,
What the hell is wrong with you?!?!
Do you enjoy letting me down?! I guess is should not be surprised because you've done it so many bloody times before. Come one lah! I am sick and tired of your behaviour! I thought i was your friend. Please do not tell me that you give your pals the same treatment. Am i that meaningless in your eyes? After all the years you've known me i would think that you would be able know how i feel and to be a bit more sensitive! Believe me. I understand your situation (or at least i think i do.. if you would just let me in to try and understand it) but your can't always use the same excuses and hurt people whom you have known for such a long time. It sickens me that i know you won't do the things you say you would, and yet i still have my hopes that maybe you would keep your word for once. I suppose i have only myself to blame for believing you everytime. God knows how much pain i feel when you forget about me. Oh yes, only He knows.

Sherona-Briseis-Zealot Tayous
That's the nick i have had on MSN for the past...lets see...4 to 5 months...ever since TROY came out! TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY! Hahahhaa... I love that nick. Its a combination and 'mutation' of stuff i like and who i am. There is quite abit of explaination behind the formulation of this nick. Wanna hear?
Sherona - Juliana ( my first 3 months SRJC classmate) used to call me that...donno why she did though... its was unique and a whole lot better than hearing people call me 'Sharon Tay' day in day out. I realise that my full name is the meeting point of all common names. My christian name alone is so common it hurts. When i was in P4 and J2, i was one of two Sharons in my class. In secondary school, there were 7 Sharons in the level alone, try counting how many there were in the whole mission school! Now - my IBM has 2 other Sharons and i know that coz they sit with me. Imagine the possibility of there being more in the class when i only know about 1/3 of the people in the LT. Shesh~ *clams the irate inner-child*
Briseis - TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY! Need i say more? ok i will...TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!TROY!....Buah hahahaha...
Zealot - She is my favorite female character in the comic book/ cartoon Wild C.A.Ts. Immortal, cool and totally 'zai' with her kitana. Did i mention that she was very beautiful? Really a girl power person all the way. :)
Tayous - My surname mutated from Greek influence. Heehee...

Hey JY!
My computer takes a very very long time to get to your page...is it my computer or do you have too many things on yr page? The info how? I still haven gotten any reply to my question. Even Sherlyna is wondering whether its for real...so is it?!

Ivan,
let me know when your going in k?

Peeps with A's
Keep the faith people! By this time next month the exams will all be over...i think...

Once again, time flies and another week is about to begin...
Thank God i for all my friends and fun! :D
Have a great week guys!
Cheers ^-^

Joshi kor...Taiji? For sure? hrm...maybe when i turn 80 ya? Haha... i prefer music and reading as mind relaxing activities...better yet! Sleeping! Yes~ can't forget that ritual...very important for my beauty :p Hee~

Yang Mui,
Why Na-na? I also donno... he is kinda repeatitive is his own ways...always says everything twice or thrice. Not that that's a bad thing...kind of good when one has shut off and misses the first round of sentences...ha³

E.S.P. to my Twin:
*Yes my blog was loooooonnnnnngggg...haha...i know...hee~ maybe i should make it longer? O.O...just kiddin' ...What songs do you have in mind for tuesday? I am currently drawing a blank...*

To the goddess Naff:
Hurrah for my lady!
For thou hath made mine day in taking time out to read mine lowly blogs.
Hurrah i say!
I shall throw flowers upon the ground which thee tred upon and bid the people to buy ice-cream for you in jibilation.
Hurrah i say once more!
How goes the project work? Getting enough sleep dear?

Hey Marcus!
How come your going in so early? NAPFA din do well izzit? Haiya~ don fret abou it lah, i am sure you will be fine...think of it as getting fitter earlier than your peers :)

Ivan ...when you going in?

Yingz~
Guess who i dreamt of two nights ago...
Want some clues?

JY!!!!!!
FOR REAL ANOT? WHO IS THE INFORMANT?????

People taking A's:
Tis' the time to study smart....got less than 3 weeks arh!!!!
Get off your computer now (ok...after you read this entry) and hit those books!!!!
Jia You ah!!!

Just watched "Get Real" last night...they did feature on blogging. Its kinda cool and rather freaky that blogging has taken on lifestyle of its own...the one thing that i still have not gotten used to is the fact that my Daddy reads blogs as well O.O...

Last year shortly before the A's started, i lent my only two sets of Japanese drama VCDs to a church friend. I kinda forgot about them until she told me that she had lost them in her home. She felt bad that she had gotten them misplaced so she asked me to buy two new sets and she would pay for them. However, during this time, Jap Dramas were and are still considered 'ancient' coz people have moved onto Korean dramas...so it was and still is very hard if not impossible to find those two Japanese dramas. My two boxes of were the only japanese sets i bought coz i took a liking to only those two...what are they? Long Vacation and Love Revolution.
Good news? My church friend finally found the boxes and returned them to me last sunday :) Thank God she found them :)

Yesterday, i went to the library with my Daddy. We came home with a bag full of books :) 12 to be exact...i wonder if i will be able to finish them in time for the next round of book searching... I am Sharon Tay - Library Raider! Buah haha...
After we came home, i went down to S.I.M. for T.K.D. training...den i hitched a ride from Mr Chow down to Paya Lebar Kovan CC for training again. Haha...altogether i clocked about 4 hours of training at one shot. I know...very siao right? But i had to try it out..now i know how it feels to train for 2 sessions straight. I am surprised that i had the energy to kick the targets during the second session since the first one was sooooo taxing already... haha...will i pull this stunt again? Hrmmm....let me think about it~ ^-^

Today, i went with my aunt to visit my Grandmother at the old aged home. I miss her alot. Can't believe that she has been there for nearly 3 years~ Last time i could always be assured that someone would be at home when i came bach from school, but when she got admitted to hospital, the house got very quiet and i was the only one in the house for the first time in my 17 years. oh well~ At least i can thank God that she is now more healthy than when she went to the hospital. :)

*A strange smoke starts coming out of the computer screen...(no, the screen is not burning out, the smoke is a certain type of mist, straight from the F/X factory belonging to Sharon)...the smoke engulfs you and throws you into a trance like state where u see what the word tell you to...*
Let your mind take you back to 1990...
When we were all still unable to see through the peep holes of our frontdoors...
You see a small girl holding the hand of a lady and walking towards a building near orchard road...the lady side-steps a road block (the kind that is an elivated horizontal pole with a huge block on one end), but the child fails to see that particular obstruction because she is too short...
*BAM!*
The kid walks forehead first into the BIG BLOCK!
Fast forward to 21102004...
The rain is coming down in sheets...that a girl hides under her umbrella as she walks in the rain...thinking that the trees will provide more shelter from the pelting rain, she skoots toward her destination under the numerous leaves...she unable to see what is infont of her because of the umbrella which still protects her from the rain...
*BAM!*
The girl walks head first into a HUGE TREE BRANCH!

By now you should have guessed that the kiddo who hit the block and the tree branch is me. If not then you probably do not know about me and my history of being an accident magnet. Sadly, my record of blunders goes back further than 1990...*goes to the freezer to get a new ice pack for her head...*

ALAMAK!!!!
Tomorrow got MATHS TEST after econs lecture!!! *starts pulling out hair*

Have a great weekend all...don't hit your heads...especially those having exams...
Cheers! ^-^
*adds another ice pack*

Not from all over the place

There can be no understanding of light with out knowing what darkness is.

Last week,Shi Min and me were caught talking during the lecture...and having realised my folly, i had already decided to shut my mouth today...but that Na-na had to come and remind us to shut-up for his lecture. I did keep my mouth shut but i was rather pissed that he told us off before seeing whether we were going to talk during the lesson. Besides, last week was the first time Shi Min and me talked so much during a lecture...shesh~
What makes my head itch is that the row of girls sitting behind us talked a whole lot more than we did ...and the 'Rambo' din even bother about them!*grrrr...*

Yeeha~
I finally got to learn finish the whole pattern for yellow-tip :)
Yes, i know, it's not my grading pattern...but its all for a good cause. I learn it to teach others (and for mine own interest...hee²). Teaching others and seeing them progress produces a rather nice sensation...know? I just hope that i don't get the yellow and yellow-tip pattern mixed up...if not i sure kanna whacked one O.O...

Tirene,
Karaoke? ON AH! Troy at my house? Sure :) But wait till after yr exams ok? Keep studying ya? If got problems must ask...leave nothing to chance...

Joshua kor... i might take up another martial art after TKD...if and when i start working...heehee..so i will have more stuff to ramble on about...lalalala

Adelyn,
Yes! My entries are long...words are the min feature of my site after all :) You want me to go down to NUS? You drive me den i go there arh~ Haha...

Cheryl already studied for the test liao...she's in the revision stage now...alamak~ O.O
We must jia you ah!!!!!!

Martial Arts Alternative Dictionary
Disclaimer:
If you expected to learn something here, leave now. The Martial Arts Dictionary exists in various forms all over the web from martial arts newsgroups; yes you guessed, another page that I have 'aquired' and edited from the internet.
Actually its all my own work, please send your credit card details now and email this to twenty three of your closest friends, or the great cosmic goat will come and eat your duvet.

Aikido: A martial art which allows you to defeat your enemy without hurting him. Unless of course he does not know how to properly throw himself to the ground in which case he has his wrist broken in about 20 places. Also known a 'origami with people.'
Arnis: "Harness of the hand." A Filpino martial art, also known as eskrima and kali, centering around stick, blade and empty hand combat. Mispronanciation of the art guarantees a quick taste.
Back Kick: A kick where you turn your back on your oppenent, then kick them without looking.
Balisong: A Filipino martial art based around complex methods of opening small, very sharp, folding knives and then cutting your fingers off.
Bo: A long stick, similar to the english long staff but spelt differently
Bokken: A stick that looks like a sword.
Buddhism: A religious doctrine and a marketing tool to populate asia with statues of short fat bald men.
Chi: A biophysical energy generated through breathing techniques; which in defying the laws of physics, and the basic scientific common sense, allows the user to develop super human strength.
Dan: A term used in the Japanese martial arts for anyone who has achieved the rank of at least first-degree black belt.
Darn: The sound uttered when the wearer of a Dan realizes that his instructor will now him hit harder and more frequently.
Damn: The sound uttered by the black belt's partner- it's his turn now!
Dojo: "The place of the way." A training hall or gymnasium. Very similar to a B & D parlor but without the mistress.
Front Kick: A kick to the front, at last (see Back kick and Side kick).
Hakama: A skirt sometimes worn in the Martial Arts but we don't really like to talk about it.
Iaido: "Way of the sword." The modern art of drawing the samurai sword from its scabbard. A rather interesting art developed around the principle of "look how big mine is".
Judo: "Gentle way." A Japanese art where grown men roll around cuddling each other without apparently doing any damage. These men are often closet Hakama wearers.
Jujitsu: A lot like judo except that these boys like to inflict slightly more damage. Tend to get very angry when accused of being Hakama wearers and often are heard saying "You gotta a big mouth"
Karate: "Empty hand" or "China hand." The primary purpose of this art is the destruction of wood and other natural products. Most Karate styles have a placing on Greenpeace's most wanted list. This art will be outlawed by most countries by the turn of the century. Karate people enjoy pain, this is shown by their habit of fighting with their fists on their hips.
Kata: A series of prearranged maneuvers practiced in many of the Oriental martial arts in order to avoid free sparring or anything else that may involve pain.
Katana: A sharp metal stick that is increadably expensive to buy.
Kendo: A strange and unusual past-time involving hitting each other with sticks and making in-human sounds. Could be a cult ?
Ki - up: A loud shout design to startle your oppenent and help the sale of sore throat sweets.
Kuk Sool Won: A combination of Kata, Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Zen, Jujitsu and Master definitions but of course the tapes for Kuk Sool Won are much more expensive.
Kung fu: A generic term for a majority of the Chinese martial arts. Many of these arts involve the emulation of animals. Many students of Pray Mantis spend years attempting to obtain the other four legs while students of Monkey Kung-fu tend to find themselves being carted off by men in white lab coats.
Master: A title bestowed on a martial artist who has attained advanced rank after long years of study or has started his own style after achieving kyu grades in at least 4 arts, or has completed the "Become a Master by Video" course available for only 19.95 per month.
Naginata: A stick with a sharp bit on the end.
Ninja: A rather confused individual who likes sneaking around at night in his pajamas.
Ninjutsu: The art of being confused and sneaking around in your pajamas
Nunchaku: Two sticks linked together with a chain.
Side Kick: Actually at kick to the front. No sense of direction some people.
Sparring: Bashing each other senseless in the hope that nobody realizes that you don't know any kata or techniques.
Tea Kwon do: The art of making a nice cuppa, normally with Earl Gray, as practiced by Captain Picard.
Taekwondo: An unusual martial art that relies on its followers to have the flexibility of a professional ballet dancer.
Tai chi chuan: Another unusual art that promises ultimate power from moving very slowly for many years. The drawback being that by the time you develop the ultimate power you are close to death anyway.
Tatami: "Straw mat." A mat usually measuring three by six feet and three inches thick (with bound straw inside.) Original purpose to prevent blood stains on the wooden floor.
Three sectional staff: Three sticks linked together with a chain.
Zen: The discipline of enlightenment related to the Buddhist doctrine that emphasizes meditation, discipline, and the direct transmission of teachings from master to student. Mostly taught by rather old and confused monks who have had one too many rocks fall on their heads during waterfall meditation. Works best when sitting in a cave facing a wall for 10 years or so.

Have a great week ahead my dears:)

A list and some other wacky stuff...

There is no such thing as bad weather.
Only bad clothing.

I realise that due to recent movies, the actors whom i admire and am starting to dream of have increased in number. Although i am a staunch believer in monogamy, i think i should be able to make an exception in this case Xp....so i have compiled a list(in no particular order) of the actors who 'do it' for me...drum roll please...

Hugh Jackman
Brad Pitt
Tom Cruise
Eric Bana
Viggo Mortenson
Bae Yong Jun
George Eads
Jonathan Rhys Meyers
Takuya Kimura
Tony Leung Chui Wai
Daniel Wu
David James Elliot
Keanu Reeves
Keagan Kang
Matt Damon
Roshan
James Masters
James Spader
Michael Shanks

Recap: Wednesday 22092004
'Taekwondo practise/training today was very interesting in part because my instructor did not turn up due to having to attend a course. As a result, the black belter and poom belters took over the class.
Chaos! Chaos! Chaos! Chaos!
C-H-A-O-S!!!!
They could not get the small kids under control...oh well~ It does happen every Sunday anyway..so i guess i should not be surprised... '

Training on Wednesday 13102004:
Once again i went through chaos! CHAOS! Spell that! C-H-A-O-S! Mr Chow was on course...good thing he finishes this week...if not i want to move to SIM for training liao~
Poor Gerald was put in-charge with Alfred suposedly giving him a hand with the class. I tip my hat off to Gerald. He very the patient. That Alfred is super one kind. I really wanted to slam his head with my foot! All he did was flod his arms and stare at the kids...shesh~ If i was the one to be put as I/C, i think i would have murdered the kids. All the chao gin nah si bei bo zeng hu one.
What's more, without Mr Chow, we don have targets.
No targets = Kick at air or use slippers as sudo-targets -.-;
Being one of the older ones, i landed up giving Gerald a hand with the training plus teaching the white and yellow-tip people how to do their patterns, since i already know how to do the white belt pattern and most of the yellow-tip one...which reminds me...i have to go ask Sir how to do the whole pattern for yellow-tip...basically, i did patterns which were not my own for the whole session. Din even get to do my pattern all the way through once. -_-; ...
All in all, i did feel a sense of satisfaction in that i was able to impart some of my knowledge to the kids. The cool thing is that they listen to me :)

Ok, this is something Ester sent to me and i found it kinda funny...mayeb u might have read it before...but i'll put in down just to see if i can make someone's day...enjoy! :D
You know you're living in 2004 when...
1. You accidentally enter your password on the microwave.
2. You haven't played solitaire with real cards in years.
3. You have a list of 15 phone numbers to reach your family of 3.
4. You e-mail the person who works at the desk next to you.
5. Your reason for not staying in touch with friends and family is that they don't have e-mail addresses.
6. You go home after a long day at work you still answer the phone in a business manner.
7. You make phone calls from home, you accidentally dial "9" to get an outside line.
8. You've sat at the same desk for four years and worked for three different companies.
10. You learn about your redundancy on the 11 o'clock news.
11. Your boss doesn't have the ability to do your job.
12. You pull up in your own driveway and use your cell phone to see if anyone is home.
13. Every commercial on television has a website at the bottom of the screen.
14. Leaving the house without your cell phone, which you didn't have the first 20 or 30 (or 60) years of your life, is now a cause for panic and you turn around to go and get it.
15. You get up in the morning and go online before getting your coffee.
16. You start tilting your head sideways to smile.
17. You're reading this and nodding and laughing.
18. Even worse, you know exactly to whom you are going to forward this message.
19. You are too busy to notice there was no #9 on this list.
20. You actually scrolled back up to check that there wasn't a #9 on
this list AND NOW U R LAUGHING at yourself. Go on, forward this to
your friends...you know you want to!

Now for lyrics!

Wouldn't it be good by Nik Kershaw

I got it bad
You don't know how bad I got it
You got it easy
You don't know when you got it good
It's getting harder
Just keeping life and soul together
I'm sick of fighting
Even though I know I should
The cold is biting
Through each and every nerve and fibre
My broken spirit is frozen to the core
Don't wanna be here no more

Wouldn't it be good to be in your shoes
Even if it was for just one day
And wouldn't it be good if we could wish ourselves away
Wouldn't it be good to be on your side
The grass is always greener over there
Wouldn't it be good if we cold live without a care

You must be joking
You don't know a thing about it
You've got no problem
I'd stay right there if it were you
I got it harder
You couldn't dream how hard it got it
Stay out of my shoes
If you know what's good for you
The heat is stifling
Burning me up from the inside
The sweat is coming through each and every pore
Don't wanna be here no more

Wouldn't it be good to be in your shoes
Even if it was just for one day
And wouldn't it be good if we could wish ourselves away
Wouldn't it be good to be on your side
The grass is always greener over there
And wouldn't it be good if we could live without a care

I somehow associate this song with the All Blacks. Donno why, i just do.
If you remember, Rugby World Cup 2003 was held around this time last year...it was total hell on my emotions coz of Carlos Spencer and the All Blacks. I kinda had this GIANT crush on Carlos Spencer during the world cup. I saw him kick that ball, score that try and i was a gonner. Haha...The sick thing was that the All Blacks din do well in the world cup, like some people say : they crack when it really counts ala. they are chookers. You can imagine how i felt when i was sooooo emotionally invested in them while they lost to Australia...*sob*
I hope that they will do better at the next world cup...and since i have gotten over Carlos and moved on to Daniel Carter, i have more reason to cheer them on. Hahahhaa....

THE TROY VCD/DVD IS FINALLY OUT!!!!

From left field: I like Navy SEALS...lalalala...

OK...
now lose it - ah ah ah ah ah
now lose it - ah ah ah ah ah
now lose it - ah ah ah ah ah
Now lose yourself~
Cheers! ^-^

Poetry : Dying

Dying since i was born
Dying to leave
Dying to stay
Dying to cry
Dying to try
Dying to buy
Dying to see
Dying to sleep
Dying to please
Dying from the life i lead
Dying to die
Dying to live.

To err is human, to forgive, divine.

Sleeping is gooooood...

Although i have gotten my double promotion, being a yellow belter is no joke. More is expected of me and i have to zhuo ge hao ban yang. But i know that God will give me the strength i need to be the best i can be. Same goes for my studies!

Today's training ranks pretty high on Sharon's 'Suck my energy' list. I have never been so tired during training before. I think i injured my leg last week while kicking the target...and the fact that i was literally melting under the evening sun did not help one bit. At least i know that i was not the only one who thought that today's training was tough. My seniors also felt that today's weather did not make for condusive training. I was so hoping that it would rain, so that we could move over to the wet-weather training ground...we haven had the chance to train there yet..oh well, all in good time i guess.
Up side to the training today : I finish learning my new pattern and i got to treat my seniors to ice-cream :) Now all i have to do is treat the rest of those people who din turn up today :p

Lately i have been getting rather irritating headaches. They are getting more and more frequent and painful as the days go by. Alternating from the left to the right lobe at the back of my brain. I have not the faintest as to what could be causing them. It could be stress or maybe even the weather, but i know that God wil take care of me. Yes! I have faith that He will heal me completely!

JoSh Korrrr.... *bish!* BUah hahahahah....

TKD is taking over my life...O.o

If my life were a car i would give the keys to Jesus.
Hrm...i wonder what kind of car my life would be? :p

I was surfing the net for tkd stuff and come across this particular piece of humour. Its one of three that caught my attention...Enjoy!

'Has TKD taken over your life?'

The perceptive reader might notice that the few "signs" that seem rather specific and may well conclude that the author is speaking from experience!

0-5 You need to train more.
5-10 You still have a life, you need to work on this.
15-20 It's getting serious.
20-30 Let me recommend therapy.
30+ You are beyond all hope!

· People find it difficult to carry on a conversation with you since you keep shifting between stances and practicing kicks while talking to them.
· When tripping over your shoelaces you bounce up into fighting stance with a Kiup.
· You answer your boss Ussss.
· You tie your bathrobe belt like an uniform belt; making sure that the ends are exactly even and the right way round.
· You go to sleep each night cuddling at least one martial arts weapon.
· You insist on your partner tieing their bathrobe belt like an uniform belt.
· You accept change from the cashier using a perfect knife hand with the thumb carefully tucked in.
· Every time you handle a screwdriver or razor knife, etc. You just can't help changing grip from hammer to reverse to flip over to dagger grip etc. And your shop assistant is standing cautiously far, far away from you.
· When you're outside doing a bit of gardening you "practice" with all the neat weapons.
· You insist on showing your work colleagues your interesting set of bruises on your forearms and shins ever week.
· Tell your Rugby playing mate he is a pansy because he won’t train due to dislocated shoulder.
· You enjoy limping into work and explaining what injury you got this week.
· You shut the refrigerator door with a side thrust kick.
· You open doors with front kicks.
· Work chairs with high back are really good for practicing turning kicks.
· You open a door with a front kick and the door bashes the boss as he is walking in.
· The boss wants to know why the department has so many broken chairs.
· Switching a light on or off requires a knife hand strike.
· While using a knife hand strike to switch the lights on, you break the light switch and short out a fuse; leaving the house in the dark.
· You shop for clothes based on whether you can kick in them.
· The only clothes you'll wear are tight enough to reveal your fit physique but loose enough to spar in (when you get a spare minute).
· You actually look forward to being told to work out on the bag.
· The books in your toilet are Taekwondo patterns, and easy Korean for beginners.
· The Twelve Days of Christmas becomes: one boxing bag, two boxing gloves, three shin pads (includes an extra pad for the one you'll inevitably lose), four Tokaido gi's, five rolls of adhesive tape....twelve cases of Tiger Balm.
· You look for a place to live based on the amount of practice space it provides.
· While practicing patterns, you do an upper block and shatter the glass light fitting (needing several stitches and leaving the room in the dark).
· You look for a place to live based on the amount of head room it provides.
· In a boring meeting you start practicing staff techniques with a pencil.
· You refuse to wear shoes, and look scornfully aloof on those that need to during class.
· As your classmate withers in pain on the floor, you fantasize about the quickest way to put him out of his misery.
· You tell beginners that care is need not to be too aggressive, after you flatten some poor sod that tries to hit you.
· While sparring with beginners you keep stopping to tell them that they are not hitting you hard enough.
· When all your injuries heal, you go through withdrawals.
· You view new students as fresh meat.
· You look forward to working another technique line.
· You eagerly volunteer to be the instructor’s demonstration assistant.
· You believe that one and half hours is far too short for a training session.
· You enjoyed your last grading test.
· You say to the shop assistant in the men's store, "Nice pants, but I don't think I can kick in them."
· "What was I doing in my office when I was spinning around and flailing my arms and legs? Ahhhhhmmmmmmm....."
· The only way to open and close doors is with spinning kicks.
· You have begun to master the reflex to commit a very messy murder when, directly after someone finds out you practice martial arts, they immediately ask: "Are you a Black Belt?"
· You have reached the phase of seeing everybody walking around with blinking little red cross-hairs on all their vital spots
· The only way to operate a lift is to backfist the correct floor button on the inside of the elevator, based on your memory of the button's location, before you get in far enough to see it.
· The local orthopaedic surgeons ask you take it easy because you are increasing their waiting lists.
· Your email tag line is: Pain is Joy.

Please let me know if and when i start acting as the above. :p

Joshua kor:
It was a very nice dream and it had something to do with Troy. Can't think of any other Brad Pitt movie i'd rather dream myself into at the moment since i have been crazy about the film since it came out and i am still waiting for the vcd/dvd release! i'll leave you to yr imagination... :p
It was a very nice dream. :D

Have a great week ahead peeps!

Tired

We are the salt of the earth.

My peeps taking A's!
Hows the studying? Coming along ok? Jia you ah! Now is super crunch time! All the way manz!!! :)

Tired.
I am tired.
For the first time in weeks i have gone to bed early two nights in a row and yet i am still feeling - TIRED.
Why is that?
Don't you ever find it weird that the earlier/more you sleep the more exhausted you get?
I just don't get it, and the weekend's not over yet! O.O

Oddly enough, there is similarity between situations where i am very tired and when i have studied for too long a period of time. I get my syntex wrong. Yes. That's right, my sentences get jumbled up.
While studying for the A's last year, i crammed for my maths until i started talking funny. I guess i brought that on myself coz i practised maths for 14 hours straight. O.o
Still wondering how i did it though...alamak~ might have to repeat it again soon...got maths test coming up in about two weeks. ArGh!~!
What's more, just two hours ago, when i was about to eat my dinner, my words came out in the messed up way.
I asked my aunt if 'the seeds had grapes' o.O
Actually the whole question in the exact words was :
"Tai Ku Ma, the seeds got grapes anot arh?"
Yes, i asked her that.
Go ahead, you have my permission to laugh, my aunt still is anyway :p

*Yawn*
Sweet dreams to All
And to All a good night ^-^

P.S. I had the most wonderful dream on tuesday! I dreamt of Brad Pitt!!! *sigh*

Tv stuff mostly

All the world's a stage
And we are but players in it. - Will Shakespeare

If you had asked how i felt about blogging this time last year, i would have told you that school had already allowed me to yak-ka-ti-yak with my friends and that was enough 'kick' for me. In school we could see each other everyday and going out together was not a problem coz we had common meeting point.
Now, things are very different.
Mainly because we're scattered all over the place studying and serving the nation at different locations across the island.
The one place which we all do frequent is the web, so it does make for easier connect with one another. Even if there is some lag time in between comments. You don have to physically reach out to touch someone. Know?

Alamak~
My handphone is going bonkers on me.
One minute it is at full batt, the next, it switches off by itself.
Sometimes, getting more often, it hangs on me.
Total RUBBISH man! I can't stand it! ARGH~
Me thinks me better start saving u to buy a new phone.
But which model should i go for? O.o

I am have noticed that most of the good shows are being given very late time slots.
Alias & 24 - Late Monday nights
Without a Trace - Late Tuesday nights
CSI:Miami - Wednesday nights
N.C.I.S - Thursday nights
Law and Order - Sunday nights
Whose line is it anyway - late at night on a day i can't remember
I think its crap that i can't stay up all the time to catch these good shows. What's the point of getting the programme when it gets shown at such God forsaken hours?
I suppose that the powers that make the decisions of what to show at what time go by this formula:
Afternoon = Bad
Evening = Best
Night = Bestest
Honestly, by their time slots and my standards, i have come to my own equation:
Afternoon = good
Evening = *bleah*
Night = Most worth my time
After all that thinking i ask this question:
If the television broadcasters mean to give the impression that only the shows worth watching are given 'owl' time slots, then why doesn't Ch5 put Singapore Idol at 2am?

Artist: Kelly Clarkson
Title: Breakaway
Grew up in a small town
And when the rain would fall down
I just stared out my window
Dreaming of a could-be
And if I'd end up happy
I would pray (I would pray)
Trying not to reach out
But when I'd try to speak out
Felt like no one could hear me
Wanted to belong here
But something felt so wrong here
So I pray (I would pray)
I could breakaway
[Chorus:]
I'll spread my wings and I'll learn how to fly
I'll do what it takes til' I touch the sky
I'll make a wish
Take a chance
Make a change
And breakaway
Out of the darkness and into the sun
But I won't forget all the ones that I loved
I'll take a risk
Take a chance
Make a change
And breakaway
Wanna feel the warm breeze
Sleep under a palm tree
Feel the rush of the ocean
Get onboard a fast train
Travel on a jet plane, far away (I will)
And breakaway
[Chorus:]
I'll spread my wings and I'll learn how to fly
I'll do what it takes til' I touch the sky
I'll make a wish
Take a chance
Make a change
And breakaway
Out of the darkness and into the sun
But I won't forget all the ones that I loved
I'll take a risk
Take a chance
Make a change
And breakaway
Buildings with a hundred floors
Swinging around wild indoors
Maybe I don't know where they'll take me but
Gotta keep moving on, moving on
Fly away, breakaway
I'll spread my wings
And I'll learn how to fly
Though it's not easy to tell you goodbye
I gotta take a risk
Take chance
Make a change
And breakaway
Out of the darkness and into the sun
But I won't forget the place I come from
I gotta take a risk
Take a chance
Make a change
And breakaway, breakaway, breakaway

Heehee...some more lyrics!
This particular song is very close to my heart in that i first heard it when i came back from Australia. I feel that the lyrics echo my sentiments about living in Singapore and what i want for myself and will probably be doing in the future.
Most recently i heard it after i got my taekwondo results when i got down from the bus ... i was so 'pumped' i skipped and ran all the way home from the bus stop! Haha XD

I have some questions which i would like you lot to comment on.
Is it true that:
*eating too much at night will lead to one getting nightmares?
*eating fish eggs when young will lead to lousy mathemathical skills later in life?
*having a bath right after eating will lead to 'tua dou' aka blooted stomach?
*will you lose your memory if you change seats while eating?

You know that commercial where a boy and his sister stand infront of an open freezer and argue about which ice cream flavour to buy...u cn tell they have been doing it for quite a while coz their getting rather 'icey'..
Small boy(SB): Cookies and cream
Small girl(SG): No i want chocolate.
SB: Cookies and Cream!
SG: Chocolate!
SB: COOKIES AND CREAM!
SG: CHOCOLATE!
SB: MOOMMMMMYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Everytime it gets screen on the tube, i immitate that boy-boi and end up laughing at myself until my tummy kanna stitch...lalala :p

Does anyone know if there is an official sound track for Face/Off?

Winnie dear,
The gummies nice? i buy somemore want? Got other flavour leh...plum i think...but i din buy the other day coz the lady said that it was sour-ish...u want to try that one?

Joshua Kor...
* a flock of crows fly by and darken the sky... the sound which they make causes Sharon to go partially deaf* :p
Hey are we limited to communicating mainly through friendster?
I find it kind of mah hwan leh...what u think?

Chao for nooow~

My awesome Tuesday

Praise God for this day that He hath made!
Here i am on a tuesday evening at Winnie's house typing my blog.

I would consider my day a very blessed and fun one.
Slept in.
Got to talk to Yingz.
Finished reading one of the books i borrowed from the library and have started on another novel.
Ate homecooked noodles...ahhhhh....
Went for sociology consultation.
Sat with my friends and went crazy together during the consultation.
Handed in my assignment for Dr Wong to assess, and was the only one Dr Wong praised for a job well done. :D
Ate dinner at Winnie's house.....Mmmm...
Get to hang out with Winnie and her family.
Winnie taught me how to modify my blog site. :)
Now eatting ice-cream.XD

The only downer is that cell group got cancelled for the evening because quite a few of our members are sick at the moment. But Ps Alan and Auntie Kia Moey dropped by Winnie's house for a visit. :)

Thanks for letting me come over Winnie! *muak!*
All the best for your test tomorrow. ^-^

Song: My Sharona

Ooh my little pretty one, pretty one.
When you gonna give me some time, Sharona?
Ooh you make my motor run, my motor run.
Gun it comin' off the line Sharona
Never gonna stop, give it up.
Such a dirty mind.
Always get it up for the touchof the younger kind.
My my my i yi woo. M M M My Sharona...
Come a little closer huh, ah will ya huh.
Close enough to look in my eyes, Sharona.
Keeping it a mystery gets to me
Running down the length of my thighs, Sharona
Never gonna stop, give it up. Such a dirty mind.
Always get it up for the touchof the younger kind.
My my my i yi woo. M M M My Sharona...
When you gonna give it to me, give it to me.
It is just a matter of time Sharona
Is it just destiny, destiny?
Or is it just a game in my mind, Sharona?
Never gonna stop, give it up.
Such a dirty mind.
Always get it up for the touchof the younger kind.
My my my i yi woo. M M M My Sharona...

Finally! A song with my name in it! Haha....don care much for the lyrics though... but i love the music that goes with it. All that guitar stuff never fails to get me jumping . :D

Thanks again Winnie!
Cheers!

Quick-quick

i just saw my tag board...so here are some replies...

Yes Ivan?
What's there to 'gasp' about? Its a very good idea. I like the notion of having a personal driver. Don't you?

Parveen yo mama~
I feel your pain...remind me to write a poem on the woes of exams k? I shall paint the real picture of murder, death, pain and total suffering because of the education system... how's that for you?
The title did not from anywhere but my mind...i never heard of that christmas song before...hrm...
As for The Corrs, i alredy said i was sorry...but one more time would not hurt...sorry, i will do my best not to let them down again.

Marcus!
Study smart ah~ I am here if you need help ya?
Jia You ah~
The joy of the Lord is our strength!
You can do it man!
I believe in you!
Look forward to the stuff you will be ble to do when the papers are finally over, but don dwell on them too much, or else u will end u slacking...its one way to get over the lulls in revising for the big days to come.

To all my peeps taking A's:
GANBATTE!!!!!!
Study until your hair all fall out man!

Zoom-zoom~

The results from my first taekwondo grading!

Success is decided by the world, satisfaction is a personal thing.

Hmm...i wonder whether i should go for the interesting or the good news first...hrm....choices, choices, choices...lalalala

OK...the interesting and somewhat painful happening first...

As typed in an earlier piece, i mentioned that i am very accident prone. Especially when it comes to sundays...during badminton sessions.
Well, the sunday before last, i whacked myself in the left knee and that line on my leg has not faded yet. To add insult to injury, i hit my leg again at the same spot yesterday. PLUS! i got hit in the temple with a shuttlecock...-.-,,
What have i done to be thus attractive to flying objects?! *sob*

Now for the good stuff!! XD

My taekwondo grading results are supposed to be out next week right?
Heheh...I got them today.

To keep you in suspense, here is what happened this afternoon at training, but first, some background...

My instructor, Mr Chow, has more than 250 students. Seeing that he does not teach my batch everyday,it is expected that he does not know all of our names.

Mr Chow received some phone calls today during training. The during the first one, he paused to ask " Who is Sharon Tay?"
I, raised my hand.
Second phone call, he double checked two more names.
During the break, my senior, whose name he called, pestered him to tell her her result. Now, my senior held a green-tip belt...(which is a yellow belt with green trimmings). Mr Chow for a reply, pointed to another of my seniors, who got promoted to blue-tip...(which is a green belt with blue trimmings).
Handshakes for her from all the members. Then she told me, that i too had gotten the similar result from the grading. Mr Chow confirmed her words...
Therefore, i have gotten DOUBLE PROMOTION!!!!! Which means that i am now a YELLOW BELT!!!!!!!!!!!
YAHOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
Praise God!
Yeah baby yeah!!!
Euphoria! Euphoria!
I am soooooo euphoric!!!!
Hee ha hee ha~
Lalalalala~
I am also the only one to get double promotion to yellow belt out of the other white belters from the club who took the grading that same day...which leaves me as the only person in the club holding a yellow belt at the moment...aiyo~ i got no one to practise the new pattern with...*sob*
On the bright side, i get to save money in not taking an extra grading and having to buy a new belt. Coz, i don have to be tested on the yellow-tip pattern and i get to use my Korkor's yellow belt XD...nanana...

Bring tomorrow on! I'll kick its butt if it fools with me! :p
Cheers!

The Corrs?!?!
Oh my! How could i be so blur?!?! i love their music and yet i could not tell that those words were from one of their songs!! -.-;
Projects how? U managed to finish the assignments on time?

Hey Ivan,
now that you have that licence, we can go driving ya? Can fetch me to school right? :p

Winnie - my twin! XD
Lalala...the CET class wasn't so bad lah...after some thought i think i do benefit from the class. its made alot more fun with you around anyway :D ...what do you think the next lesson will be on? WIll you be able to attend the camp? I still think that the cost is kinda high...how arh? If we can get one more person we pay less right? But then the overall cost is only less by around $20 or so...aiyo~ head ache liao...

I have been slacking at work...yes unfortunately i have kinda gone back to the old ways and now am getting rather blured up in class...
eg, i attend IBM and listening to Mr Nageb, my mind is going : What the hell is he talking about?!?!?
Yes alarm bells are going off here and there...so i really have to find something to motivate myself to get back to the books to be in tune with the lessons once more...wat's worse, i got lots of maths and an econs assignment to finish up by next friday O.o...siao liao!

How did you guys find the last poem?
Its meant for all of you who have exams and stuff like that...i am trying to be lyrically motivating...so what's the verdict?

As for myself, i wait with baited breath for the results of my sociology test, maths assignment and taekwondo grading...aiyo~ more headache...o.O

Rock on my friends, rock on~
Cheers!

Poetry : Do you see what I see?

Look at yourself.
What do you see?
Numbers on paper?
Just a dot on a dot?
Huge paper weight?
Moving piece of carbon?

Looking at you.
What do I see?
Potential to reach the sky
The will to live
A miracle
A special light in my life
Hope

Do you're darnest
Jump on the bed
Be more than you can be
I know you can
Because I believe in you

Look into yourself.
What do you see?

HaPpY ChiLdReNS' DaY!!!!!!!! ^-^

To all the children(big or small) out there:
Enjoy yourselves! You've earned it! ^-^

Why is the sky blue?
Why are eggs oval?
Will i live to be 200?
Are men really necessary?

If you've noticed, the tube is showing reasons why people should watch The Discovery Channel, and the above questions are just a some of the things which we hardly ever think about.
To put my mind at ease i shall attempt to answer the questions to the best of my abilities.

Why is the sky blue?
The sun rays that reach the earth pass through the ozone and other stuff in the air. These things act as a filter and thus make the sky look blue or otherwise, like when there are rain clouds in the sky.
AND
God made it that way.

Why are eggs oval?
To prevent them from rolling/falling out of the nest.
AND
God made them that way.

Will I live to be 200?
God knows.
Well...200 is a very big number. i have yet to reach 20 and i am already kinda boggled down with alot of things...i don't understand why some people would want to live forever. I would consider that a curse. ( i watched An Interview with a Vampire and numerous Highlander movies so i kinda got the idea that living too long is more of a chore.) I personally would hate to live that long and see all whom i love die.

Are men really necessary?
Now thats a good question! Haha...i think i won't comment on it...lalalalala...

As posted yesterday, i did mention that i was looking forward to my soci lecture today. Well, Dr Wong selected my row to answer the question and as fate would have it, she said that those without spectacles would have to present their work to the class. As disappointing as it is not to be called...i was kinda...actaully VERY relieved that she din call me. Why?
Coz i din do the assignment correctly. -.-;;;
I got everything correct except the tiny detail that required me to focus on a social issue instead of the whole society itself...lalalala....heng ah~

Hey JY!
I hope you had a good time at Sentosa. It din rain did it?

Oi Marvin!
You got your tan back yet?

Adelyn!
How's the lessons coming along? Got tests yet? The teachers any good? Got alot of homework? Hows the canteen food? Are there any handsome guys on campus?
